Well done to our Boys Soccer team they won the  Carlow County final and are now through to the South Leinster final next week

Our girls and boys team played brilliantly today in the 5 aside soccer tournament in SETU Carlow . Our boys team are through to the County final next week . Well done to all our  the players

The school celebrated Seachtain na Gaeilge recently with a Lá Glas for all classes and a céili where the older class performed the Irish dance of theSiege of Ennis that they had been learning for PE over the last number of weeks . The Junior room performed the drama na Trí Mhuc while the Senior room wrote the script for their own drama Míshasamh sa Bhialann- a comedy about Donald Trumps visit to a busy pizzeria . The drama was performed during school time and recorded which is uploaded on the class Seesaw account .

Over the last 4 weeks , pupils have enjoyed Breakfast Club . The Breakfast Club is a Wellbeing initiative and is designed to provide pupils with a calm, welcoming start to the day. A small breakfast is provided, along with a relaxed environment where children can chat, settle in, and prepare positively for learning. It is a great way for student to develop good relationships with each other and staff as well as encouraging attendance and punctuality at school.

Our student council pick out new books for our library every year and this year they arrived just in time for World Book Day . Pupils spent lots of time today on the lovely couches and bean bags in our library reading the new books.
