Well done to our school hurling team coached by John McGee who played in the Cumann na mBunscol Division 1 indoor hurling final in Old Leighlin yesterday . Teams from Kildavin, Drumphea ,Gaelscoil and St Brigid Bagenalstown all played and our wonderful players received silver medals .

Thank you to all the players from Mount Leinster Rangers Hurling Team  who came to visit the school today . The children were very excited all day and many proudly wearing the MLR colours to welcome the players.It was lovely to see all the cups today and celebrate the team’s great success over the last number of months .  

Well done to Ryan Joyce, Bella Hickey and Ted Burke who were all finalists in the Carlow Enterprise Office Creative writing competition . They were presented with vouchers and certificates at last nights awards ceremony in the Dolmen

Sharing some pictures and videos from some recent  STEM projects  such as our motorised car and Potato Clock . Lots of problem solving needed to make sure the car moves forward and pupils were very determined to get it right but it was certainly a challenge . Great team work !
