Edel Heran from the Heritage Scheme recently visited our school and gave a workshop for all pupils about wild bees and the honey bees in Ireland and the explained about the All Ireland Pollinator Plan . She brought in an education hive, smoker , bee suit and honey to taste . After wards pupils went on a nature walk to discover local bio diversity.
